to Obesity/Overweight/Cholesterol problems ….then perform SURYA MUDRA
Now
a days , most of us …kids, youngsters
and old aged people are suffering from obesity, overweight
problems .Obesity/overweight is a medical condition in which excess body
fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health.
It is defined by body mass index (BMI) and further
evaluated in terms of fat distribution via the waist–hip ratio and total
cardiovascular risk factors.Obesity and overweight mean the same ?Yes,
they mean the same. Are you curious to
find a solution to this problem? Yes , surely I want to get rid of this .I don’t
have time to exercise ..I don’t have
enough space to set up a Jim at home … I have a hectic schedule right from the
morning , so don’t have time to go for a morning walk, but I want to reduce my
body weight. Considering this situation , if you ask me ,is there a solution to
this ?I will say , “DEFINETLY YES”. Here we go….
You
can do this mudra, while walking from your home to office , while driving from
home to office ( supposing you have a driver who drives the car J),
while reading books ..you can perform with one hand , while you are in meetings
/attending meetings /while talking to your colleagues …before going to bed,
while watching TV etc..
Surya Mudra:
Procedure : Bend the ring finger
and bring it to the base of the thumb and
place the thumb above
the ring finger.
Effect:
It sharpens the centre
in Thyroid gland
Time Duration :
Practise this mudra twice
daily for 5 to 15 minutes .
Benefits :
It reduces cholesterol
in the body ,and helps in weight reduction
It reduces anxiety
It corrects
indigestion problems .
Added benefits :
Reduces phlegm in the
body (kapha dosha), reduces asthma, pneumonia, sinus and breathing difficulty.
Note: Sick person should avoid this mudra
or can do for a maximum of 0.5m a day.
